Sparrowland Short Film Festival (SLSFF) is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing independent short films, and providing filmmakers with an exciting platform amongst a supportive creative community...indie style!

We advocate for unique, heartfelt, mind-bending or gut-wrenching stories that challenge and express humanity- the ugliness and the beauty. These can be any genre - but are unapologetic and free in their exploration of what encapsulates the human spirit.

We invite you to send in your latest project, to be adjudicated by some of Australia's influential filmmaking professionals, and some special international guests! If officially selected, you will be screened at our live screening and networking event....a heartfelt celebration of all things indie!
